Join the National Center for Healthcare Leadership for an introduction to the NCHL Mentorship Program! This will be an opportunity to ask questions about the program and to get to know the NCHL program managers who administer the program. This initiative is meant for healthcare professionals seeking leadership and mentorship opportunities. All individuals working in the healthcare sector with less than 7 years of experience are invited to apply as a mentee. Individuals working in healthcare with minimally 10 years of experience and 3 years working in a supervisory, management or leadership role, are encouraged to apply as mentors. Program Objectives Bring together professionals pursuing careers in healthcare Support the development of best practice skills amongst both the mentee and mentor Provide an opportunity for fostering professional relationships with experienced industry executives through the partnered creation of a collaborative learning environment Discuss key trends impacting healthcare Supplement a need for professional development and mentorship amongst NCHL’s members Provide opportunities for cross-organizational networking and professional development Important Dates January 27th – March 2nd, 2023: Application window March 2nd, 2023: Application deadline Late March: Mentors and Mentees will be matched and notified. A formal Kickoff Orientation will be scheduled April – November: The mentorship program is expected to formally commence the last week in March and conclude in November 2023. The commitment is for 8 months in total. On average, each mentor/mentee spends 1-2 hours per month connecting.
