Research Focus: My interdisciplinary training in public policy and social epidemiology has shaped my research on how social, economic, and structural conditions contribute to health disparities. Recent work has examined the social and contextual determinants of sleep and cognitive health and the role of sleep in chronic disease. I have also studied social disparities in COVID-19 and Long COVID and their longer-term mental, sleep, and cognitive health consequences.
