I was a faculty in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2001 to 2023. I joined the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan in 2023.

Research Interests:
Dynamic treatment regimes, semparametric modelling, survival analysis, missing data, causal inference, data integration, machine learning, clinical trials, electronic health records

Research Projects:
One of my on-going projects is to learn optimal treatment rules or policies using multiple data sources. Another project is to use high-dimensional and multi-domain disease markers collected from EHRs or digital phenotype data from sensors for disease diagnostics, prediction and treatment decisions.
