How to Apply
Application Materials
- A current curriculum vitae.
- A 3-page document including a personal statement and a research proposal. This document will serve both to inform the creation of the mentorship team and as
a basis for the small work-group activities during the summer institute.
- 1-Page Personal Statement: Please describe your current and future research trajectory and how participation
in the MIWI Training Program would support your development. Your statement should
address:
- Program of research: What do you study and what questions/problems drive your work
- Five year trajectory: If your research is successful, what impact do you hope your work will have over the next five years?
- Why MIWI: Why is MIWI a good fit for you at this point in your research career? How would your participation accelerate your development and impact?
- 2-Page Research Proposal: Please describe your proposed research project for MIWI, including:
- Research questions and/or specific aims
- Planned sample or data source(s)
- General study design or approach
- How the project advances your longer-term research agenda
- 1-Page Personal Statement: Please describe your current and future research trajectory and how participation
