Research Interests & Projects
As a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a broad interest in alleviating food insecurity
and promoting health equity, my research is focused on advancing existing community-clinical
partnerships aimed to prevent and manage chronic diseases, particularly within historically
marginalized communities. By leveraging mixed methods and community-based participatory
research, I plan to evaluate the potential impact and scalability of cross-sector
programming designed to address the intersecting burdens of not just food insecurity
and access to affordable healthcare, but of all health-related social needs that influence
the overall quality of life of individuals and communities.
