At this event, you'll discover how earning a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Equity from the University of Michigan can empower you to make an impact and work towards a healthier and more equitable world. Health Behavior and Health Equity offers a flexible path to gain versatile skills and knowledge in public health, focusing on health equity issues and working in partnership with communities to improve health. Our department specializes in training you to:
- Reduce health inequities – our program will help you develop an equity lens to help you tackle the root causes of pervasive health inequities, both in the US and globally
- Evidence-based decision-making – hone your ability to understand, collect, analyze, and synthesize data to inform action and strategies to reduce health inequities and improve health
- Equitable partnerships with communities – train with world-renowned leaders in Community-based Participatory Research and take advantage of opportunities to gain practical experience working alongside community partners to address pressing health issues.
At this virtual event, you'll have the chance to hear from MPH students in Health Behavior and Health Equity and our faculty, explore the program's curriculum and learning experience, and see how you can build the skills to address root causes of health inequities and tackle today's most pressing health issues.
