Cluster Web Portal

Open OnDemand is a graphical web portal that enables use of the cluster without the need for existing knowledge of the command line.

With the web portal users can:

• Launch interactive RStudio sessions on the cluster
• View and edit files
• Transfer files between the cluster and local devices
• Launch a web-terminal window
• Submit and view jobs
• Launch a Linux desktop on the cluster

The web portal eases the transition from performing research on a laptop to the cluster by providing a familiar interface.

The web portal can be accessed by navigating to biostat-login.sph.umich.edu in a web browser.
