Environmental Toxicology and Epidemiology Training Grant (ETEP)
This program provides pre- and postdoctoral research training in the study of the causes and prevention of adverse consequences to human health that may result from environmental exposures. Supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

Great Lakes Air Center for Integrated Environmental Research (GLACIER)
A collaborative center involving researchers from the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Maryland, Ohio State University, and UCLA. The objective of GLACIER projects is to explore and elucidate one of the most prevalent and important global health-environment interfaces: The interrelationships between facets of the cardiometabolic syndrome and air pollution.

National Institutes of Health Fogarty International Center

Michigan Center on Lifestage Environmental Exposures and Disease (M-LEEaD)
This National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Core Center supports research, training, and community engagement activities to advance understanding of environmental exposure impacts during vulnerable stages of the lifespan and apply these findings to medical and public health interventions for mitigation of human disease.

University of Michigan Formative Children's Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Center (UM-CEHC)
UM-CEHC is conducting research on how exposure to heavy metals and toxic substances in everyday life may impact children's health and increase their risk of chronic disease in adulthood. The center is a collaborative effort between the University of Michigan, the School of Public Health, and the Instituto Nacional de Salud Publica in Mexico.
