Why did you choose the University of Michigan School of Public Health for a graduate degree?

I liked the coordinated dietetics program and Michigan Public Health has a great reputation as a top school of public health. I also loved the environment when I came to Admitted Student Day!

What organizations did you belong to while at U-M?

Student Advocates for Nutrition (SAN)

What was your first job out of graduate school?

I was a Research Coordinator at Michigan Public Health.

What is your current job?

Now I’m a Research Project Manager II at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute.

What is your passion in nutrition and how did it change over time?

I have a passion for research. I still am passionate about global nutrition, but my current career path has me working on projects for weight management and mindfulness, as well as weight stigma and bias.
