Alumna Brenda Liz Henry joined New York City government because she wanted to be part of a system that would improve outcomes for children and families. In her hometown, she's driving evidence-based interventions focused on a critical period of development among low-income children and families who are predominately children and families of color.

Lilah Khoja’s path to public health wasn’t a straight one. After completing a degree in international development, she worked in a variety of industries, trying to find the right fit. In her work with Syrian refugees in Turkey, she realized public health was her calling.
