I double majored in biology and psychology in college. I thought I had to choose—I could either be a biologist or a social scientist. But I realized epidemiology would allow me integrate the two areas, which is what drew me to public health.
I love interacting with prospective students and undergrads. Mentorship is such a critical piece of me.
Through Innovation in Action, I connected to students across campus to find solutions to public health problems. It becomes a big part of your life when you're doing it.
