The University of Michigan Healthcare Executive Student Association (MHESA) will host the annual Career Expo on Friday October 6th, 2023 from 11:00AM - 4:00PM in-person at the Vaughan School of Public Health or via virtual option.
The Career Expo connects organizations across the healthcare industry with University of Michigan School of Public Health graduate students. This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to network with health professionals, explore various career pathways, and discuss potential job opportunities with employers. Historically, the Career Expo has been instrumental in introducing high-achieving young professionals to quality healthcare organizations to fill both potential internship and post-graduate school employment opportunities. Ultimately, the Career Expo is an opportunity for employers to recruit our students at no cost.
Career Expo Agenda:
Coffee Chats (11:00AM - 2:00PM): In-person or virtual option. Casual 20 minute long 1:1 conversations between employers and graduate students interested in learning about the employer's organization and internship/career opportunities. Employers have the chance to connect with up to 9 students who have a specific interest in their organization. If employers choose to attend via virtual options, the employer is responsible for creating and sending us a meeting link. In-person coffee chats will take place at the Vaughan School of Public Health.
Career Fair (2:00PM-4:00PM): Held in-person at the Vaughan School of Public Health. Provides the perfect recruiting opportunity for employers to exhibit their organization and to connect with a large portion of Michigan's Health Management & Policy students in a short amount of time. Each organization will be provided a table; employers should bring their own materials as needed.
Happy Hour (Optional): Time and Place TBD
