Dr. Sosa Moreno's research focuses on the intersection of climate change and health, with a particular emphasis on water-related challenges in low-income regions. Her work explores how water intermittency and poor-quality water systems influence behaviors and increase disease risk, particularly waterborne and arboviral infections. With expertise in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), as well as infectious disease transmission, Dr. Sosa Moreno's work aims at advancing global health outcomes in underserved populations.
