Summary
My research program has been based on the study of dietary factors associated to the emerging burden of chronic disease in developing countries. My contributions to scholarship in this field can be described within four main areas: nutrition factors and chronic disease in developing countries, gene-diet interactions, dietary methods, and triggers of myocardial infarction. More recently I am trying to develop health interventions at the work place.
