Summary
My global public health research is focused on developing and applying rigorous and innovative biostatistical methodologies in the areas of cancer, maternal and child health, and cardiovascular diseases. My teaching/training interests are in building biostatistical capacity in developing countries. I have mentored many undergraduate and master\'s students at UM on global public health projects and internships, and taught globally-focused workshops/webinars/short courses In India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Cyprus, and South Africa. I also serve on multiple UM and international committees and advisory boards related to global health. I am an affiliate faculty in the Center for South Asian Studies at UM.
