Course Proposal (CAID) Workflow

  1. Course Proposal Creator

    1. Staff or Faculty submits CAID for new course or changes to existing course
    2. Staff/Faculty will make any edits or changes requested and (re)submit
  2. Program Coordinator

    1. The Program Coordinator reviews the CAID and either approves it or returns it with requested changes to the Course Proposal Creator
  3. Curriculum Coordinator

    1. The Curriculum Coordinator reviews the CAID and either approves it or returns it with requested changes to the Course Proposal Creator
  4. CUE (UGrad) stage

    1. If this is a change to a course open to undergraduate students, the Committee for Undergraduate Education will review the CAID and either approve it or return it with requested changes to the Course Proposal Creator
    2. If this is a change to a course not open to undergraduduate students, you may skip the CUE Stage 
  5. Department Chair stage

    1. The Department Chair reviews the CAID and either approves it or returns it with requested changes to the Course Proposal Creator
  6. ACAP Stage

    1. The ACAP Committee reviews the CAID and either approves it or returns it with requested changes
    2. If the ACAP committee approves the CAID, it is then sent to the University Registrar Office for processing and will then be uploaded to the SPH Website
