Advisory Boards

Public Health Practice & Global Engagements works with two separate advisory boards to shape the direction of activities within the unit.

Global Public Health Faculty Advisory Committee

The Global Public Health Faculty Advisory Committee is a standing school-wide faculty committee with faculty representatives from all six departments. The committee is tasked with providing advice and guidance to the Public Health Practice & Global Engagement team within the Office of Student Education at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in developing and expanding global public health research, training, and service as an integral part of the school’s mission to prevent disease and promote health around the world. Members of the Winter 2026 Committee.

Practice Advisory Council (PAC)

The PAC engages practice partners and University of Michigan School of Public Health faculty, staff, and students to inform the school’s teaching, research, and service so that it supports the current and emerging needs of state and local public health. The PAC does this by contributing to the three focal areas of the Public Health Practice & Global Engagement Unit: experiential learning, community-academic partnerships, and workforce development. Members of the 2025-26 Council.
