Future Public Health Leaders Program
Michigan Future Public Health Leaders Program (Michigan FPHLP) is a residential summer program funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Through field placements, skill building workshops and mentorship, Michigan FPHLP provides students with opportunities for growth, learning and awareness in the field of public health. The ultimate goal of the program is to expand opportunities to join the public health workforce and grow the number of people working to reduce health inequities.
Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Training Program
The University of Michigan Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Training (MHRT) Program, funded (T37) by the National Institutes of Health supports the research training of students at all academic levels interested in global public health research careers.
Region V Public Health Training Center
The Training Center provides continuing education to those who promote and protect the health and quality of life in our communities by offering face-to-face and online instruction to students drawn from state and local health departments, community-based organizations, health delivery systems, and health plans, as well as those studying public health.
