Undergraduate Courses in Public Health
The University of Michigan School of Public Health offers courses for undergraduate students to integrate an understanding of key public health concepts into their undergraduate program. These popular courses cover a range from topics from an introduction to public health to global and environmental public health to behavior and public health.
These courses are currently available to all University of Michigan undergraduate students, regardless of your program of study. You do not need to be a public health major to enroll.* Course details and prerequisites can be found on the individual course pages.

*Note: Undergraduate students who plan to apply to the public health major should not enroll in the following courses before admission to the program:
- Core courses: PUBHLTH 381, 382, 383, 384
- Major-specific required courses: PUBHLTH 360, 370
- Culminating experience: PUBHLTH 380, 481,
